Macronutrients are Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrates

Macronutrients are Protein, Fat, and Carbohydrates and they are stored in the body in different ratios than found in foods you eat. Protein is not stored but you can increase your muscle through exercise and balanced nutrition. So you need to eat the right amount of protein every day to support and build muscle. Fat is the main store of energy in the body and if you have normal intestinal function you are not deficient in fat. What is important Is the type of fat you eat (omega 3,6,or 9) and not eating too much. There is no requirement for carbohydrates but you should get 7 servings of 100 grams of Colorful fruits and vegetables. Reduce the amount of refined carbohydrates such as cakes, cookies, and pastries since these foods contain simple carbohydrates like sugar which are converted to fat easily.
