Sports Nutrition #1: FAT BURNING is what most people want when they exercise, but how do you burn fat most efficiently? By laurent514 on July 28, 2017 • ( 0 ) View this post on Instagram FAT BURNING is what most people want when they exercise, but how do you burn fat most efficiently? When you exercise you burn fat and carbohydrates. At low levels of exercise you burn mostly fat as you increase your exercise you burn more carbohydrates. At about 70% of maximum heart rate you burn fat most efficiently. To get this level, subtract your age from 220 and multiply by 0.7 (you can do this on your smartphone). For me it is about 130 beats per minute. You want to maintain this rate throughout your exercise session of 30 to 45 minutes. To do this alternate high intensity training bursts on the treadmill and bicycle and maintain your heart rate while doing resistance exercise with weights, machines, and resistance bands. #fat #fatburn #fitness #nutrition #fatloss to learn more go to www.drdavidheber and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com A post shared by Dr. David Heber (@drdavidheber) on Jul 17, 2017 at 9:57am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...‹ GETTING READY FOR SPORTS NUTRITION: Starting tomorrow, I am posting a new series on Sports Nutrition which will include education on burning fat, building muscle, and muscle soreness.Sports Nutrition #2: CONSERVE CARBOHYDRATES that are stored in your muscles and liver. ›Categories: Nutrition
