Behavior Change #9: ACTIVE LISTENING will help you connect with those you are coaching. By laurent514 on August 5, 2017 • ( 0 ) View this post on Instagram ACTIVE LISTENING will help you connect with those you are coaching. The first step is to engage the other person with eye contact. Then speak slowly while paying attention to the body language of the listener. If they look away, they are not listening. Allow there to be silence and wait for responses. Don't interrupt and talk over the listener. Passive listening is the more common form where there is active listening until attention is lost. The the person hearing but not listening is already rehearsing what they are going to say. Only after saying what they want to say, do they return to active listening. Practice active listening and your coaching will have a greater impact as you lead people to Balanced Nutrition and a Healthy Active Lifestyle. #drdavidheber #listening #coaching #conversation #behavior to learn more go to www.drdavidheber.com and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com A post shared by Dr. David Heber (@drdavidheber) on Aug 4, 2017 at 5:48am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...‹ Behavior Change #8: MEDITATION AND YOGA reduce stress by creating a quiet space in your day.Behavior Change #10: RELAXATION is one of the best ways to reduce stress by getting into a deep state of calm. ›Categories: Nutrition
