It is one of the most important behaviors in coaching. Through compassion you can see where the feelings of another person can make sense to them and then you can use your other Behavior Change skills to help them. As you see them change, it is very rewarding. Research shows that when one person helps another either individually or in a group, the reward center in the brain is activated just as it is with other rewards and pleasures. When you help someone else, you are also helping yourself.
