NUTRITION HOW’S? #7 : HOW TO EAT PROTEIN OVER THE DAY? Your body tells time every 24 hours using 100 biological clocks in different organs in your body controlling your nutrition. Light coming through the eye to the Master Clock in your brain is one signal but another signal is when you eat. The nerves from your intestines send a signal to your brain with each meal or snack you eat. When you travel between time zones and get jet lag, the first thing you notice in addition to fatigue is that your digestion is affected with multiple bowel movements, diarrhea, or constipation. If you don’t eat at the about the same time every day, you could have these symptoms without even traveling. About 40% of Americans don’t eat regularly and have Irritable Bowel Syndrome associated with overweight or obesity. To synchronize your biological clocks with your daily eating plan, start with a Protein-Rich Shake for breakfast, then have a healthy lunch, a Protein-Rich Shake at 4 or 5 PM to control your afternoon hunger and fatigue, and a healthy dinner with an Evening Shake with dinner or to control after-dinner craving and to set you up for a good night’s sleep. Exercise every day and have a Protein-Rich Shake within 30 minutes to 1 hour after exercise. Just as you make sure your watch is telling the right time every day, be sure to eat protein at the same times every day for Balanced Nutrition and a Healthy Active Lifestyle!! #drdavidheber #biologicalclock #circadianrhythm #protein #overweight #obesity to learn more go to www.drdavidheber.com and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com
