WEIGHT MANAGEMENT BASICS: STRESS REDUCTION- Too much stress in your life can lead to eating the wrong kinds of foods called Trigger Foods, so an important behavior in weight management is Stress Reduction. The first step in Stress Reduction is to slow down and live in the moment. Stop rushing from one challenge to another all day long and take a break! It will all be waiting for you when you go back to work. Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction takes many forms. Exercise not only has benefits for your body but can reduce stress when you build in a walk out in nature, the right music, and a delicious sports drink to stay hydrated. Yoga can join the mind and body in exercises that send relaxing signals to the brain by relaxing the muscles. It includes relaxation breathing in through the nose and slowly out of the mouth, and there is always time to find a place to do deep breathing to reduce stress. Time management is important and visiting a spa or creating your own spa environment at home with candles, incense, and massage is an important part of stress management. Managing your Balanced Nutrition and Healthy Active Lifestyle with Protein-Rich Nutrient-Rich Shakes on a routine schedule and sleeping well trains your brain’s internal stress-reducing mechanisms and natural biorhythms to work to improve your quality of life. To do all this you should find a mentor, coach,or in some case if you are stressed out and depressed -find a psychological professional for a time to get on track. However, no one takes better care of you than you do!!
