WEIGHT MANAGEMENT BASICS #24: EXERCISE MOTIVATION ? – The two hardest things in exercise are 1) getting started and 2) sticking with your plan. For too many people, whenever the urge to exercise comes over them they wait until it passes! About 80% of people who join a gym drop out within the first year. So the first step is to be stronger than your excuses such as not having enough time, sore muscles, thirst, and fatigue. These obstacles can each be overcome through planning “8 Steps to Success” which will be outlined in this next series of posts. Increase your motivation by visualizing your body after its transformation over the next 90 days or whatever target date you select. Plan a 30 to 45 minute session at least three times per week but work toward some daily activity which is part of a Healthy Active Lifestyle. Mornings work better for most people because you are more alert and muscles are relaxed after sleep. However, plan a schedule that works for you including afternoon workouts when necessary. Try not to exercise two hours before sleep. To see great results have a Sports Drink for hydration during exercise and a Protein-Rich Shake within 30 minutes to 1 hour after exercising!! #drdavidheber #exercise #motivation #planning #transformation #weightlossjourney to learn more go to www.drdavidheber.com and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com and read PERSONALIZED NUTRITION AND TRANSFORMATION available as an e-book on Amazon.com for $5.49.
