COACHING #3: 2. GATHER INFORMATION- The second step in Coaching is to Gather Information. I will use weight management or trying to lose weight as an example: 1) Previous Experiences – what weight loss diets were tried and what worked or didn’t work? ;2) What are the Goals and Objectives in terms of looking better, fitting into clothes, or just getting healthy 3) Assess Readiness to Change. On a scale of 1 to 10, how ready is the client to change today- have they planned to do this someday, today, or are they just thinking about it? ;4) Confidence in the Method used to lose weight. Here you can both gather information and share your knowledge about Protein-Rich Shakes, Balanced Nutrition and Healthy Active Lifestyle. See my previous post on Weight Management Basics to learn more ; 5) Set a Schedule for achieving the goal realistically. Set a weekly goal for weight loss based on the diet plan and a weekly evaluation of self-monitoring including a food and activity record in person sometimes and by e-mail regularly to enable feedback and encouragement. Gathering information will enable you to personalize your Coaching to achieve the best possible results and prepare you for the next step in Coaching which is Planning Goals -so stay tuned!! #drdavidheber #coaching #weightlossjourney #goals #timeline to learn more go to www.drdavidheber.com and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com and read PERSONALIZED NUTRITION AND TRANSFORMATION available on Amazon.com for $5.49
