BRAIN HEALTH #8: EXERCISE AND THE BRAIN By laurent514 on December 20, 2019 • ( 0 ) View this post on Instagram BRAIN HEALTH #8: EXERCISE AND THE BRAIN- There are two types of exercise that help your brain function at its best: Physical Exercise and Mental Exercise. Physical Exercise increases blood flow to the brain bringing it more nutrients such as glucose and more oxygen. Mental Exercise such as learning a new language or mental mathematics increases the connections between brain cells and can help maintain your mental capacity as you age. It is also important to provide your brain with Balanced Nutrition and the amino acids that form neurotransmitters such as tyrosine, phenylalanine, and tryptophan. These nutrients will keep your brain nourished so your thinking ability will be at its best! Be sure to get the right amount of protein at each meal and have a Protein-Rich Shake in the late afternoon and after exercise to avoid fatigue by maintaining your mental energy!! Next I am starting a new series on Phytonutrients -So stay tuned!! #drdavidheber #brain #exercise #thinking to learn more go to www.drdavidheber.com and www.herbalifenutritioninstitute.com and read PERSONALIZED NUTRITION AND TRANSFORMATION available on Amazon.com as an e-book for $5.49 A post shared by Dr. David Heber (@drdavidheber) on Mar 20, 2018 at 6:36am PDT Share this:TwitterFacebookLike this:Like Loading...‹ BRAIN HEALTH #7: BRAIN-GUT INTERACTIONSPHYTONUTRIENTS #1: WHAT ARE PHYTONUTRIENTS? ›Categories: Nutrition
