HAPPINESS #4: GRATITUDE

HAPPINESS #4: GRATITUDE – We all have daily stresses in our lives both big and small. However, we also have things for which to be grateful. Psychological research shows that concentrating on what is good in your life and expressing gratitude will make you happier. A tool that can help is a Gratitude Journal where you write down those things in your life for which you are thankful both big and small each day. Maybe you saw a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Maybe you helped someone and they thanked you. Maybe you accomplished a milestone in your work for which you were recognized. As shown in the graph on the slide, the more months you practice writing in your Gratitude Journal, the happier you will be. As I have said from the beginning of this group of posts- Happiness is not something that happens to you out of nowhere, but something that you make happen for yourself! Happiness is a physical, emotional, and spiritual sense of well-being and it begins with physical health and taking care of your mind and body with Balanced Nutrition and a Healthy Active Lifestyle. Start your day with a Protein-Rich Shake and exercise every day to get your mind and body healthy. Health and Happiness are linked so be grateful for what you have and get Healthier and Happier every single day!! Next I will talk about how to achieve more in your life by being Proactive to accomplish your Purpose.
